New Condos In The Santee Area

Originally proposed in 2011, the 50-unit condominium complex at Mission Trails has finally been cleared for development by the Santee City Council. With construction expected to begin in the third quarter of the year, the project is expected to provide affordable homes close to San Diego.
With their expertise at transforming underutilized real estate to residential housing, the developer, City Ventures has made a commitment to an exceptional build in Santee. With over 14,000 homes built across California, from the San Francisco peninsula through Silicon Valley and the East Bay, the development appears to be in good hands.
The Condo
Tentatively called the Santee 50, the complex will comprise of nine buildings, in a combination of three-plex, five-plex, six-plex and seven-plex units. With a common outdoor recreation area, over 110 (mixed and open-air) spaces for parking, residents will avoid the persistent parking problem of many condos in California.
Recreation in the Area
Residents at the Mission Trails Complex will have access the nearby Trails Regional Park, with its 25+ miles of nature trails for hiking and biking. Golfers can also tee off on the nearby Mission Trails and Carlton Oaks Golf Courses.
With Lake Murray only six miles away, shore fishing and private boating is available seven days a week. Visitors to the lake can also use float tubes and waders to drift on the waters. Three miles in the opposite direction, is the Santee Lakes Regional Park, where recreational activities like hiking and fishing can be enjoyed too.
Proximity to the City
Being close to Route 125, 52 and under ten miles from downtown San Diego, the new condo remains easily accessible to major towns. For shopping closer to home, the Santee Trolley Town Square Center includes retail outlets, restaurants and eateries.
Construction of the condo may bring extra development to the area in form of new sidewalks in the streets and access to the city water reservoir. The condo promises to be a boon to both residents of the area and the City at large.
