The Santee 4th Of July Celebration

Stumped for what to do this Fourth of July? Are you torn between hosting yet another BBQ in your back garden or meeting friends? Do you even know where you'll catch the best view of the fireworks?
If you are close to Santee, then listen to this great news. The City of Santee invites you to the annual Santee Salutes Fair. This 4th of July, come down to 550 Park Center Drive, Santee and strut your stuff in your red, white and blues. Come with the family, come with your neighbors; the Salutes Fair promises to provide hours of fun for the whole family.
Worried about parking?
With multiple parking spots provided, you won't have to walk for miles in the summer heat. There's parking available at the location, Town Center Community Park East. Alternative lots are open at Town Center Community Park West & City of Santee Aquatics Center/Cameron Family YMCA.
There's also free parking available at Costco, Rio Seco School and the School District parking lot.
Fun for All
There will be bumper car rides, swings, face painting, inflatables as well as glow necklaces and T-shirts to buy. If rides are not your thing, you can still have a ton of fun. Close to the Northwest side of the park, there is a playground with plenty of room for a kickabout.
Dogs that are well behaved and on a leash are also welcome at this 4th of July celebration.
Foodies are Welcome
You are welcome to bring your own snacks, but with the range of food available, I doubt you'll need it. There will be ten different food vendors providing eats at the fair. From the finger-licking pastries of Eccentric International, to fresh burgers from Chubby’s Food Truck to gourmet tortas by Tortally Tasty, you'll definitely find something you'll love to eat. Thirsty? Cool off with delicious frozen treats from Kona Ice.
Keep on Rockin'
Music will be supplied by the 80z All Stars band, who'll be jamming throughout the event. There will also be members of the Second Battalion First Marines presenting the Color Guard, and our National Anthem sung by Maddi Cepeda. And that's not all. A spectacular firework display is scheduled for later in the day. For any more information, visit the city site here.
This 4th of July, take advantage of an event that the whole family can enjoy together. Come down to Town Center Community Park East with your family and celebrate our nation's birthday. The Quance Group wishes all Americans a happy Independence Day.
