Splashing around at Santee Aquatic Center

Summer activities tend to fall into one of two groups; the ones you enjoy as an adult and the types only the kids will have fun doing. One of the few exceptions that everyone can enjoy is a trip to the beach. In many cases, no summer would be complete without a visit to the beach.

As part of the Town Center Community Park, which includes the local Y and a Sportsplex USA complex, the Santee Aquatic Center is a unique chill spot. At the Aquatic Center, there is something for everyone; from t. ...

Have You Taken The Kids To Urban Jungle Fun Park In Santee?

Halfway through the summer break and you seem to be running out of fun stuff to keep the kids entertained.
The pandas at the San Diego Zoo? Been there.
Hiking up El Cajon? Done that.
Playing at the Waterfront Park? Booooooring!
You've grown so desperate that you've held three campouts in your backyard already! Lucky for you, the City of Santee offers a wide range of activities for everyone. Everything from the Senior Sing-a-long to the Ruff Reader event, where children (and their parents) can read with a therapy dog.
However, we know kids can have so much energy to burn that a quiet afternoon spent reading just won't cut it. With tourists trooping in to enjoy Santee and its charm, places like the Santee Lakes Regional Park may be a little crowded.
One location still stands out as the most fun that kids can have this summer. Open 7 days a week, the Urban Jungle Park has been voted San Diego’s Best Indoor Play Place and the Best Place for Kids to Break a Sweat!
For U. ...

Know Your Property's Value Before You Put It on the Market

Every house seller wants to sell their home for the best possible price, but few know how to. Many sellers thinks it starts with planting a “for sale” sign in front of the home, but they soon find that's just the beginning of the process.

First off, do you really know how much your home is worth? Failing to calculate a fair value and pricing too low, can cost you thousands. On the other hand, over-estimating its value can lead to you pricing yourself out of the market.

If you ask around, you may be advised to get an appraisal first. But even before that, there are some fundamental steps to be taken. Sellers soon find that trying to determine the value of the property can turn out to be a multi-layered problem.

To get a better idea of the market value of your home, start by identifying some of the elements prospective buyers like to know about. Some of these elements include:

Size – What's the square footage of the property?

Amenities – The. ...
